Similar to its predecessor, Watch Dogs 2 is an action-adventure game with stealth elements and played from a third-person perspective as protagonist Marcus Holloway, a young hacker. The game features an open world environment set in a fictionalized version of the San Francisco Bay Area, an area more than twice as large as the Chicago setting from Watch Dogs. The Bay Area consists of four different areas: San Francisco, Oakland, Marin, and Silicon Valley, all of which have different characteristics and aesthetics. Players can navigate the game’s world on-foot or by the various vehicles featured in the game, such as cars, trucks, buses, cable cars, motorcycles, quad bikes, and boats. The driving mechanic was overhauled and designed to be more accessible. The player can shoot their weapons while driving.

Watch Dogs 2 Review
Though this game is named Watch_Dogs 2, its story has very little to do with the previous game. So if you haven’t played the previous game, don’t hesitate to try this out. Graphics are amazing, my GTX 1050Ti 4GB OC Edition couldn’t handle its free Ultra HD Texture Pack but I took it as far as I could without losing much FPS and the game looks gorgeous! So if you’re the kind of gamer who likes realistic graphics, you won’t be disappointed at all.
Game-play mechanics are truly awesome. It’s not so complex that could make you confused neither it’s so dull or boring – it’s the perfect balance in-between. You can hack almost everything in the game, but not without a fair amount of challenge. There are many difficulty settings available for those who love a challenge and those who likes to have a relaxing game-play. Difficulty can be changed at any time however, in multiplayer, everyone’s difficulty will be set to normal.
The open-world is really open from the start, unlike most other games that locks most of the world map until you progress in the main story-line. You can fast-travel to all of the locations from the beginning (except just a few story related ones). You can buy all the outfits from different shops, a lot of cars and bikes from different shops, and their skins – this game has tons of skins for almost all of your vehicles, gadgets and weapons.
The story is good, not too believable but the game-play definitely makes up for it. You can replay every single main story mission and side missions you have completed using your new load-out and skills.
