65+ Weapons, 70+ vehicles and aircraft are available to add to your arsenal. If that’s not enough, you can always use your wrench to humiliate the enemy!

Heroes & Generals Review
After playing this game almost non stop for about a week, i have to say its not the worst but its not the best either. It is free which is a plus but it also in some concepts is p2w. THIS GAME IS NOT FRIENDLY TO NOOBS! I cant say that enough. YOU WILL DIE A LOT. This game rewards patience, strategy, and teamwork. If you dont play with at least 2 out of the 3 then you’re not going to have a good time. PLAY THE OBJECTIVE.
There are 3 factions; Germany, Soviets, USA. You pick one at the start and you givin a level 0 infrantryman. The starter weapons on all factions are pretty much the same weapon but with a different skin. allthough the m1 grande for the US trumps the other two by a small margin. You will be using these starter weapons for quite a bit if you aren’t willing to pay to unlock the others. Which is where p2w comes into play..and where a lot of people seem to be turned away from this game. In order to unlock the next or better weapon you will have to grind for hours before finally making enough to purchase them or you can simply purchase them and unlock them instantly. At the start if you’re a decent player you will earn roughly 3k credits a match, if you play the objective. The better weapons cost from 100-300k credits, so that gives you an idea of the grinding aspect. This personally i dont mind because its like getting a big paycheck after a long week of work, you feel like u’ve earned it. And trust me does it pay off… once you get that better weapon you will see a dramatic increase in your performance. This is where you start to have a ton of fun.
There are two gamemodes Skirmish, which is domination from cod, and assualt, which is a pretty original gamemode where you have to attack or defend 2 or 3 main capture points (CP). There are also 2-3 sub-lines of CP that the attackers need to get through in order to get the main CP. You are forced to play skirmish until you reach level 5 which is a good thing because it lets you get a grip of the game. Skirmish has three maps that are very balanced and fun to play. Assualt has 5 maps that can be hard to understand at first and require much more “patience, strategy, and teamwork” as i stated above. I’d advise not to start playing assualt until you’re aquipped with a better weapon. Plus skirmish deals out more credits, faster.
Overall I really enjoy playing the game. Its a new take on fps, as it plays like no other. The game can be pretty frustrating at first especially if you try to force you way through the battlefield to get to an objective. You must be very cautious and aware at all times, taking your time to get to the CP. If you take the time to fully give this game a chance and understand how to win/play i’m sure you wont think the time was wasted and you’ll likely have a ton of fun. Allthough the game might not be for everyone but is surely worth the try, as it is f2p.
