Circle Empires Review
This game is very enjoyable to say the least, it grabs your attention with its great art style, concepts, and overall quirkyness. The thing I mostly love about this game is its art style. Its simple yet so satisfying, a cartoony style was the perfect approach for a game like this. Another thing that I thought was a great idea is the gamemode Monster Hunt. Its satisfying finally finding the great beast, wizard, or warrior after a long conquest and wiping them out with my massive army. I as well enjoyed unlocking new leaders who have their own special abilities. My personal favorite was Barandur the builder, he made me feel safe inside my little walls. I havent unlocked all of them but I sure hope I will eventually.
This game has a lot of things I like but some things I didnt. Such as melee troops from one circle running over to another being attacked and staying, it really messes up my organization and makes me angry. Another is when I tell my army to attack a circle and they just walk over and do nothing, which gets them all killed. Finally the one bug I found in this game that was game breaking is when im in imperial conflict and there is always a circle that cannot be captured even if i destroy everyone and everything in it. Its has lead to some dissapointing moments that block me from unlocking things because I cant complete any game which leads to me not being able to progress in the leader unlocks as well as filling my treasury.
I understand this review wasnt long but it shows my likes and dislikes about the game. If I were you I would get this game as it is easily adaptive and very addicting. It is very rewarding and satisfying after you defeat the monster, take the final circle, or defeat the final empire. The leader unlocks make also make this game interesting and the game pushes you to unlock more. In my eyes this game deserves a 9/10 and I would recommend everyone who is a fan of RTS and doesnt have a lot of time to buy this game.
