Trackmania Turbo
TrackMania: Turbo features gameplay akin to that of previous games in the series. The player can race on over 200 different tracks, across four different locations, namely Rollercoaster Lagoon, International Stadium, Canyon Grand Drift, and Valley Down & Dirty. Similar to previous games, the game moves at a very high pace with a high focus on stunts. The game’s developer said that “[They] wanted [Trackmania Turbo] to be an arcade game”
Various modes are set to appear in the game, including a campaign and a mode called Double Driver, which is a cooperative multiplayer mode, in which two players are controlling the same car. TrackMania Turbo will also have a split screen multiplayer mode for up to 4 players which makes it the first racing game with such gameplay for the consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and PC in 2016.[ and Arcade in 2019.
The track editor from previous games also returns, which allows players to create own tracks and share to other players. A new addition to the track editor, is its ability to generate random tracks. A new feature introduced to the franchise is Systemic music, which ties the soundscape to the gameplay, which dynamically intensifies, heightens or lessens the music to fit with the gameplay.
Trackmania Turbo Review
Trackmania Trubo is an extremly high octane think fast racing game where the main goal is to get from the starting line to the finish line as fast as possible while dealing with obstacles like.. Going upside down, ramps, walls, turns, staying on the bloody track, twists, different terrain, and more! Its a lot of fun!
GAMEPLAY – The gameplay is kinda like Cuphead in the sense that your gonna be restarting levels over and over until you a good enough run to continue on to the next level, however this game of course doesn’t start out hard right away! It eases you into the game and does an amazing job of progressively getting harder over time!
CONTROLS – The game controls really well! However the game controls like trash when your on terrain like the dirt, the beach, the grass, etc which logically makes sense and I’m fine with that HOWEVER they really over did it on certain terrain like the beach, and the wooden planks where it becomes so insainly slippery and almost uncontrollable! And most of all super ANNOYING!
MODES – This game has a lot of great modes! Campaign was great, track creator was incredible, online was good, etc point is its got some good game modes.
MUSIC – Meh, Rainbow man was good but I hated the rest.
GRAPHICS – OMG I LOVE THE BEAUTIFUL ARDCADE STYLE AND COLORFUL ART AND GRAPHICS THIS GAME HAS! Amazing art and graphics!
OVERALL – Trackmania Turbo is probably my favorite racing game ever its a lot of fun, I very much recommend it!
SCORE – 8.5/10 (In between 9 (Extremly good) and 8 (Very good)) Trackmania Turbo is an amazing creative, fun, and fairly original racing game! However its not much more than just a really fun racing game.
