We Need to Go Deeper Review
We Need To Go Deeper. A game I waited my whole life for. Since I was a child I played a submarine game on the ol’ Dos, and I started making a game up that was basically this… but worse. THIS game is above and beyond what my little child brain could imagine…. fast forward 20 years at age 30 or so and this game was announced. Amazing. Now of course it’s early access so there are going to be flaws, but for the most part it’s a very very unique game. Four friends can all coop together taking control of one sub. Like an oregon trail in the sea. This is in my top favorite games of all time so far, and seeing some previews of what’s to come for this game just makes it that much more exciting.
This small dev team is filled with more passion than most triple A game devs. By far. You can see it in their work, filled to the brim with charm and wonder. And the more they update it the more you just want to explore and, as the name implies, Go Deeper!
And it’s an absolute STEAL at 10 bucks. The dev team are seemingly constantly working on this game, most likely even in their dreams. Every 8th they come out with new content, and then even in the end of the month they sometimes bring out more content. Absolutely phenominal. Make sure you buy it.
