Garfield, the famous lasagna-loving cat is back to take on Jon, Odie and company in a no-holds-barred racing game!
Choose your character and kart according to their characteristics and your driving style, get off the starting line first and control skids to outrun your opponents. Use crazy bonus objects, like the Pillow or the Magic Wand, to gain an edge and get over the finishing line first. Are you lazy like Garfield? Take shortcuts to overtake the other racers with the Spring!
Race your friends in local mode or online, with up to eight players on 16 iconic circuits from the world of Garfield.

Garfield Kart is a kart racing game. The player can compete on various tracks, collect items, and power-ups which interfere with the other racers. Players can also customize their vehicles and play online, though the online feature is only available on PC and is currently in beta. You can choose 8 characters, but only Garfield and Jon are available at first, with the others having to be unlocked. There are daily challenges you can complete, which will give you options to customize your vehicle. There are three cups to choose from: Lasagna, Pizza, and Hamburger. There is also the hidden Ice Cream Cup, which is unlocked by completing all the other cups on 150cc difficulty. Each cup contains 4 maps, for 16 in total. There are also three difficulties to choose from: 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc. The Lasagna Cup is always free, and the Pizza Cup is free for 50cc, but for the 100cc and 150cc you have to unlock the cups, or you can pay to try them using in-game coins.
Garfield Kart Furious Racing Review
Garfield Kart – Furious Racing is yet another fantastic title in the Paws Inc. library. Though the original Garfield Kart’s multiplayer element was fairly limited (considering the game’s massive scale and ambition, it’s easy to forgive the struggle), Garfield Kart – Furious Racing doesn’t just incorporate a beautifully seamless online multiplayer element, it also adds a split-screen multiplayer mode!
The AI in the game is just as astounding as always. It’s a smooth progression between the difficulty of the AI and the cc of the race. In 50cc (or as I like to call it, Kitten Mode), the AI is so mentally handicapped that they may as well not be on the map. However, once you reach 150cc, the game ends. It becomes an all out battle for the death between the player and the NPCs. The NPCs will do everything that the loose rules of the game will allow them to in order to best you in the race, which may be frightening to younger players.
The character choices are very diverse. I can now play as Harry the Street Cat from the getgo and I’m almost able to recreate my dreams of eating birds just like the aforementioned feline. There’s no need to beat each Grand Prix on 100 & 150 CC in order to unlock the beloved cast of The Garfield Show. Instead, Paws Inc. had the ambition to replace the reward system with granting players hats and spoilers for their racers.
Of course the changes in this game do not compromise the core elements that give the Garfield Kart franchise it’s character. One minute you could be miles ahead of the cast of the Garfield Show behind you, and the next thing you know, you’ve been hit by a swarm of tracking pies and pillows and you’re in last place!
Garfield Kart – Furious Racing is an amazing experience and I recommend it more than I have recommended any other game in my Steam Library. It is flawless in its design and the graphics are just beautiful. The OST could make even the toughest Garfield fans shed a tear. Garfield.
