DESIGN YOUR OWN WEAPONS
Harvest components from the smoking wreckage of your enemies and construct a vast arsenal of crazy weaponry. Gatling laser guided rocket launchers, bear teleporters and singularity cannons are just the beginning. All this customization isn’t just for show, either. Different weapon and character builds allow for a huge range of effective playstyles.
TACTICAL DEPTH
The space skeleton armada is cunning and merciless – flanking, sniping, cloaking and teleporting are just a few of the tricks the AI is capable of. However, if you learn their tactics you can use your enemies weapons against them. All attacks have full friendly fire, and exceptional players can annihilate entire fleets by tricking them into shooting each other.
MASSIVE BOSSES
After obliterating enough regular enemies, you’ll have to face down screen filling deathmachines like the Killdozer, Bullet Devil and Terror Fortress Omega.

XenoRaptor Review
Gameplay is straight forward. You play as a powerful, weaponized dragon flying across the galaxy to defeat a mysterious army of chainsaw drones. Control is responsive, and in a basic format. Combat feels rewarding, and even getting hit gives you that bittersweet sound of a chainsaw screeching into your thick scales. Weapon customization is ridiculous, giving you a variety of weapon bases, ammunition, and convections to choose from. Addicting and simple, but positively eye-widening with the combos you can get.
Probably the only particularly lackluster part of the game. Graphics don’t matter too much, and the game looks alright, but I can’t lie when I say it looks like a game from 2010 or something. This won’t affect your gameplay too much though, and you can certainly enjoy it on any of the graphics settings.
Performance seemed fairly average on a toaster of a computer that I have. No major lag spikes, and the game ran at a steady 60 FPS, even at times of high chaos and special effects. Rock and roll on your awful Alienware laptop if you want, I’m sure it’ll do fine. Weirdo.
Literally emptier than that barn from Charlotte’s Web. At least that place had living beings in it. XenoRaptor doesn’t have a very active community, though this is subject to change. I’ll be happy to report that multiplayer works, at least. As in, I tried with friends because no stranger wanted to play at all. Thankfully there’s a four pack. Go nuts.
I’ll be playing this a lot in the future, I feel it. It’s a great game with good heart that doesn’t worry about a deep story, or beautiful, breath taking graphics. It’s about shooting things really good and dodging the bad guys. Decimate whole fleets of misunderstood tree-cutting tools with XenoRaptor.
